Aurora Mendez Sanchez [Spanish: Méndez Sánchez] (13 August 1908 – 12 March 2020) was a Mexican supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Mendez Sanchez was born in El Tigre, Tierra Nueva, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on 13 August 1908. She worked on cornfields, sowing and cultivating the land. Her diet was based on beans, cheese, raw cow's milk, as well as mead and other natural products. She never married nor had children. In August 2018, she celebrated her 110th birthday. She lived in Zona Centro of Tierra Nueva.
Mendez Sanchez died in Tierra Nueva, San Luis Potosi, Mexico, on 12 March 2020, at the age of 111 years, 212 days.
