Maria Concha Perez-Cidad [María Concha Pérez-Cidad] (9 December 1901 – 30 September 2014) was a validated Spanish supercentenarian, who was, at the time of her death, the second-oldest living person in Spain behind Ana Vela-Rubio.
Biography[]
Maria Concha Perez-Cidad was born in a small town Grijalba, province of Burgos, Spain. She was the oldest of six children.
At 25, she graduated in Philosophy and Literature in Madrid. She retired at 70 as a senior government official (the equivalent today to the Ministry of the Interior). She never married and had no children.
Perez-Cidad passed away in Madrid on 30 September 2014 at the age of 112 years, 295 days.
