Maria Ederinn (25 April 1688? – 1 December 1805) was an Austrian longevity claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Maria Ederinn was born in present-day Austria on 25 April 1688, according to her baptism certificate. Her father was a honest weaver who on account of his poverty had been permitted to live on basement story of the old mansion of Lübenau.
Ederinn was a servant and during her last 20 years of life she had been supported by the neighbouring peasants who received her alternatively into their houses.
Maria Ederinn died on 1 December 1805 at the parsonage house of Fridorfing, Duchy of Salzburg (now Austria), at the claimed age of 117 years, 220 days. If her claimed age is true, she could be oldest woman ever from Austria.
