Maria Emilia Quesada Blanco (5 January 1901? – 25 June 2018) was a Cuban longevity claimant who claimed to have been 117 years old at the time of her death. Her age is currently unvalidated by the Guinness World Records (GWR). If her claimed age were true, she would have been the oldest person ever from Cuba and she would have also been the world’s oldest living person from the death of Nabi Tajima on 21 April 2018 until her own death two months later.

Biography[]

Maria Emilia Quesada claimed to have been born in Cienfuegos, Cienfuegos, Cuba on 5 January 1901. She had 15 siblings, one having reached age 100; she survived all of them. She never married or had any children. She said that her religious faith was the secret of her longevity.

Maria Emilia Quesada died on 25 June 2018 in Cienfuegos, Cienfuegos, Cuba, at the claimed age of 117 years, 171 days.
