Maria Mattivi-Mattivi (29 November 1904 – 29 May 2016) was a validated Italian supercentenarian known for being the fifth-oldest living person in Italy (behind Emma Morano-Martinuzzi, Marie-Josephine Gaudette, Giuseppina Projetto-Frau, and Maria Giuseppa Robucci-Nargiso) at the time of her death.
Biography
Maria Mattivi was born in Trento, Trentino, Italy on 29 November 1904. Together with her brother Cristano, she was one of nine children. Her grandfather was a miner in United States. Her father goes to World War I when she was 10. She attended schools in Austria at that time. She married Fortunato Mattivi (born 1902) at the age of 25. They had three children: Adelia (born 1930), Esther (born 1934), and Luciano (born 1948).
She died in Trento, Trentino, Italy on 29 May 2016 at the age of 111 years, 182 days.
