Maria Mika (23 May 1882 – 17 November 1994) was a Czech-born Austrian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Maria Mika was born in Bohemia, Austria-Hungary (now Czech Republic) on 23 May 1882.
In May 1992 she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian and also the first person in Austria to reach the age of 110.
Maria Mika died in Vienna, Austria on 17 November 1994 at the age of 112 years, 178 days. She is the oldest validated person ever to die in Austria and the oldest validated person ever born in the territory of the present-day Czech Republic.
