Maria Negri (12 March 1895 – 13 January 2007) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). She was Italy's oldest person for a very brief period in 2007.
Biography[]
Negri was born on 12 March 1895 in the town of Arzignato. She became the oldest living person in Italy on 11 January 2007, when 112-year old Lorenza Dotta died. Negri herself died two days later at the age of 111 years, 307 days.
