Maria Richard (28 November 1900 – 11 October 2012) was a validated Belgian-French supercentenarian. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest living person in France, behind Irenise Moulonguet.
Biography
Maria Richard was born in Luxembourg, Belgium on 28 November 1900. At the some point in life, she moved to France.
Following the death of Paule Bronzini on 29 August 2012, Richard was thought to have become the oldest living person in France; however, Irenise Moulonguet was discovered to be three weeks older than Richard.
Richard died in Languedoc-Roussillon, France on 11 October 2012 at the age of 111 years, 318 days.
