Maria Strelnikova (15 March 1890? – 3 May 2005) was a Russian longevity claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). If her claimed age were validated, she would have been the world’s second-oldest living person at the time of her death, behind Maria Capovilla.
Biography
Strelnikova claimed to have been born in Ukrainka village, Samara Oblast, Russia on 15 March 1890. On her claimed 115th birthday in 2005, she recieved congratulations from the then President of Russia, Vladimir Putin.
Strelnikova died in Vyborg, Vyborgsky District, Leningrad Oblast, Russia on 3 May 2005 at the claimed age of 115 years, 49 days.
