Maria Ubach Massana (15 March 1909 – 30 June 2019) was a Spanish supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2020.
Biography[]
Ubach Massana was born in Manresa, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain on 15 March 1909. She, her husband, and her daughter Maria Gloria ran a family pastry shop until the 1970s, when they transferred the shop to a bank.
Maria was the oldest living person in her retirement home, and one of four people living there who were at least 100 years old. Her daughter visited her nearly everyday, and Maria Gloria was the oldest living person in Spain with a living parent.
Maria Ubach Massana passed away in Castellgalí, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain, on 30 June 2019 at the age of 110 years, 107 days.
