Maria Virginia Villegas Lascano (10 July 1907 – 18 October 2020) was an Ecuadorian supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Ecuador.
Biography[]
Maria Virginia Villegas Lascano was born in Jipijapa Town, Jipijapa Canton, Manabi Province, Ecuador, on 10 July 1907.
On 10 July 2017, she celebrated her 110th birthday, becoming a supercentenarian.
Maria Virginia Villegas Lascano died in Jipijapa, Manabi Province, Ecuador, on 18 October 2020, at the age of 113 years, 100 days. Following her death, then 112-year-old Dolores Velez Bravo became the oldest known living person in Ecuador.
