Maria Zaccaria (née Nicastro) (24 November 1905 – 2 October 2017) was an Italian-French supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2020.
Biography
Zaccaria was born Maria Nicastro on 24 November 1905 in Grammichele, Catania, Sicily, Italy and later emigrated to Hérault, Frontignan, France.
Zaccaria passed away on 2 October 2017 aged 111 years, 312 days. At the time of her death, she was the 6th-oldest living person in France.
