Maria Antonia Zuccalà Capitò (15 March 1905 – 15 October 2016) was an Italian supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography[]
Maria Antonia Zuccala Capito was born in Polistena, Calabria, Italy on 15 March 1905.
Towards the end of her life, Zuccala could not walk and had severe visual and hearing impairments, but could still talk and eat by herself. She was the oldest living person in Calabria Region at the time of her death on 15 October 2016 at the age of 111 years, 214 days.
