Maria de la Luz Angel Talamantes (11 January 1909 – 21 June 2020) was a Mexican-American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Maria De La Talamantes was born on 11 January 1909 in Mexico, where she worked as a florist before moving to El Paso, Texas. In her later life she lived in a nursing home in El Paso, where she celebrated her 110th birthday in January 2019.
De La Talamantes died in El Paso, Texas, USA on 21 June 2020 at the age of 111 years, 162 days. At the time of her death, she was still able to walk unassisted.
