Maria del Socorro Garcia [Spanish: María del Socorro García] (26 September 1905 – after 26 October 2020) was a Salvadoran longevity claimant.
Biography[]
Maria del Socorro García claimed to have been born in the La Cabaña ranch, in the municipality of El Paisnal, El Salvador on 26 September 1905. Despite her advanced age, she still cared for herself, doing household chores such as washing, cooking or sewing. She celebrated her claimed 115th birthday on 26 September 2020.
Maria del Socorro Garcia died month after her claimed 115th birthday on 26 October 2020 at the claimed age of at least 115 years, 30 days. She was believed to be oldest living woman in El Salvador.
