Marie-Anne Lacombe-Doucet (11 March 1912 – 30 July 2022) was a Canadian supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest known living person in Quebec.

Biography[]

Marie-Anne Lacombe-Doucet was born in Saint-Edouard-de-Maskinonge, Quebec, Canada on 11 March 1912 (claimed 10 March). Her father was Wilfrid Lacombe. She had 11 siblings.

She married Arthur Doucet in 1935. The couple had seven children (including Claude Doucet; aged 84 in March 2021), and Jeannine Doucet-Goulet).

She drove until the age of 94. She lived with her son until 2020, when she moved at Residence Avellin-Dalcourt.

As of March 2019, she had one living brother Yvon Lacombe, 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

In March 2022, Lacombe-Doucet celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian. She became oldest known living person in Quebec, following the death of 112-year-old Yvonne Delorme-Martel on 7 April 2022.

Lacombe-Doucet died at Residence Avellin-Dalcourt in Louiseville, Quebec, Canada on 30 July 2022, at the age of 110 years, 141 days (claimed 110 years, 142 days).
