Marie-Rosalie Lizotte (25 December 1738 - 5 March 1847) was a Canadian centenarian, as well from 1 April 1846 to 28 December 1891, the oldest woman ever, when she was surpassed in age by Anne D'Evergroote.
Biography[]
Marie-Rosalie Lizotte was born in St. Roch des Aulnets, Quebec, Canada on 25 December 1738. Her parents were Nicholas Claude Jr Lizotte (1703 - 1756) and Marie Madeleine Miville (1693 - 1748). She had one daughter.
Marie-Rosalie Lizotte passed away in Rivière-du-Loup, Provence De, Quebec, Canada on 5 March 1847. She was 108 years, 70 days old, and also the second-oldest person ever, when she died. She was the first woman whose age has been verified, to have reached the age of 108.
