Marie Buzkova [Czech: Marie Buzková] (17 October 1902 – 26 June 2009) was a Czech centenarian who was the oldest living woman in the Czech Republic at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Marie Buzkova was born in the South Bohemian Region, Austria-Hungary (now Czech Republic) on 17 October 1902. She became the oldest known living woman in the Czech Republic, following the death of Marta Pokorna on 30 December 2008. At the time, the oldest living person in the Czech Republic was Ukrainian-born Josef Flandera.
Buzkova died in Písek, South Bohemian Region, Czech Republic on 26 June 2009 at the age of 106 years, 252 days.
