Marie Eugenie Combeleran [French: Combéléran] (née Santamans; 8 June 1889 – 23 May 2001) was a French supercentenarian whose age has been validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Combeleran was born as Marie Eugenie Santamans in Aude, Occitanie, France, on 8 June 1889. On 9 March 2000, she became the third-oldest known person in France behind Marie Bremont and Germaine Haye, and held that position until her death.
Combeleran died on 23 May 2001 at the age of 111 years, 349 days. Her claim was validated by Jean-Marie Robine and Laurent Toussaint, and was officially validated by the GRG on 8 January 2004.
