Marie Schwarzova [Czech: Marie Schwarzová] (née Farkova; 30 January 1910 – 26 August 2019) was a Czech centenarian who was the oldest living person in the Czech Republic at the time of her death.

Biography[]

Marie Schwarzova was born in Brno, South Moravian Region, Austria-Hungary (now Czech Republic) on 30 January 1910 as Marie Farkova. She was a teacher and amateur actress, later also worked as a secretary.

She became the oldest known living person in the Czech Republic following the death of 108-year-old Kvetoslava Hranosova on 20 January 2019.

Schwarzova died in Brno, South Moravian Region, Czech Republic on 26 August 2019 at the age of 109 years, 208 days. Following her death, then 108-year-old Magdalena Kytnerova became the oldest known living person in the Czech Republic.
