Martha May Berryhill (12 July 1900? – 18 December 2010) was an American supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of death, she was the oldest (claimant) living person in Oklahoma and the last original allottee of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
Biography[]
Martha Berryhill claimed to have been born in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, USA on 12 July 1900. Her parents were Harrison Logan Berryhill and Bettie (née Burgess) Berryhill. She had 11 siblings: six brothers and five sisters. Her mother died in 1904. She married John Haynes in 1919 and had four children: three daughters and one son.
Martha Berryhill died in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, USA on 18 December 2010 at the claimed age of 110 years, 159 days. She is survived by one daughter Ruby Mauk, eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, and three great-great-great-grandchildren. After his death, Ora Holland became the oldest living person in Oklahoma.
