Martha Sara Rein nee Blumenfeld (17 August 1874 – 6 January 1987) was a German-American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group.
Biography
Martha Rein was born as Martha Sara Blumenfeld in Diespeck, Kingdom of Bavaria, Germany on 17 August 1874 to Anselm and Veronika Blumenfeld. In 1940, she moved from Germany to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, but moved to the United States in 1941. She married Karl Rein. She died in San Francisco, California, United States on 6 January 1987 at the age of 112 years, 142 days. She was one of the oldest living Jewish people in the world.
