Martha Washington Sagendorph (née Page; 22 February 1879 – 30 June 1989) was an American woman notable for her longevity.
Biography
She was born in Chelsea, Massachusetts, USA on 22 February 1879 as the daughter of Joseph and Hannah Veazie Page. In 1902 she was the first student to graduate the Worcester Hahnemann Hospital School of Nursing of Massachusetts. She married Arthur Sagendorph in Boston, Massachusetts on 12 November 1902.
The couple had three children, Richard, Gretchen and Emma Jane. Martha W. Sagendorph outlived the nursing school she graduated from in 1902 by one month and died in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA on 30 June 1989 at the age of 110 years, 128 days.
