Martha Ann Truelove (née Harrison; 7 August 1816 – 20 May 1924) was a British centenarian who was the oldest known living person in the United Kingdom at the time of her death.
Biography[]
Martha Truelove was born on 7 August 1816 in Woolwich, Kent, England. She married James Truelove in Lewisham, Kent in 1855 and they raised one son, Edward. She became the oldest living person in UK after the death of Jane Lister in 25 April 1923. Truelove died in Kent, England on 20 May 1924 at the age of 107 years and 287 days. Her successor of the oldest person in UK was Ann Sharp.
