Mary Alice Keller (née Gipe; 19 March 1876 - 19 March 1986) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Mary Alice Keller was born as Mary Alice Gipe in Altoona, Pennsylvania, United States on 19 March 1876, as the daughter of Isaac Gipe and Mary (née Honodel) Gipe.
She married Louis C. Keller in Camden, New Jersey on 24 April 1893 and had one daughter, Edna Regina. The couple got involved in the hotel business and operated a hotel in Altoona, Pennsylvania.
In the mid-1910s there were some marital troubles, which led to the couple divorcing. They were however back together again by 1930. Louis Keller died in 1943. Alice's daughter Edna died in 1980.
Keller died in Altoona, Pennsylvania, United States on 19 March 1986, her 110th birthday.
