Mary Ann Burch Stewart (née Shuler) (17 September 1833 – 11 March 1944) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated. She might have been the world's oldest living person after the death of Anna Wheeler on 18 December 1943 until her own death.
Biography[]
Mary Ann Stewart was born Mary Ann Shuler on 17 September 1833 in Morgan County, Indiana, United States. She was married to seven men and outlived all of them. One of them was Franklin Burch (14 July 1856 – 1 January 1935), whom she married around 1868 and got three children. Burch died in 1935 at age 78. At 109, Stewart was still in good health.
Mary Ann Stewart died in Harmony, Indiana, United States on 11 March 1944 at the age of 110 years, 176 days.
