Mary M. Brandt (née Kaufmann; 3 February 1892 – 29 April 2002) was an American supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2022.
Biography[]
Mary Brandt was born as Mary Kaufmann in Buffalo, Erie County, New York, USA on 3 February 1892. Her parents were Fred Kaufmann (born in Germany) and Kate Kaufmann (born in New York state).
In 1912, she married Rudolph Brandt. The couple had three children: Evelyn L. Elliott, Albert Brandt, and Arthur Brandt. She survived her two sons.
Brandt spent all her life in Erie County, New York. In her centenarian years, she lived in the Autumn View Manor Health Care Facility (in Hamburg, Erie County), where she enjoyed watching television and playing bingo.
Mary Brandt died in Hamburg, Erie County, New York, USA on 29 April 2002, at the age of 110 years, 85 days.
