Maria Magdalena (Mary) Drymalski (neé Stanczewski; 22 July 1880 – 1 December 1993) was a Polish-American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 19 June 2021.
Biography[]
Mary Drymalski was born in Culm, Germany (present-day Chelmno nad Wisla, Kuyavia-Pomerania, Poland) on 22 July 1880. Her parents were Piotr Stanczewski and Katarzyna (neé Zielinski) Stanczewski. She had five siblings.
She married Bernard Drymalski and had three children.
Drymalski died in Chicago, Illinois, USA on 1 December 1993 at the age of 113 years, 132 days. At the time of her death, she may have been the sixth-oldest known living person in the world, behind Jeanne Calment, Margaret Skeete, Tane Ikai, Wilhelmina Kott, and Daisy Adams.
