Mary Ellen "Ciss" Geaney (2 January 1886 – 5 April 1996) was an Irish supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Mary Ellen Geaney was born in the village of Ballyhooly, County Cork, Ireland, UK (now Republic of Ireland) on 2 January 1886. She believed her birthdate was 6 January 1886, but her birth record showed that she was born 2 January 1886. She never married and not had children. She lived to be Ireland's oldest living person.
Mary Ellen Geany died in Fermoy, County Cork, Ireland on 5 April 1996 at the age of 110 years, 94 days.
