Mary Jorden (née Zlatkus; 1 January 1907 – 1 March 2018) was a Lithuanian-American supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) on 1 March 2018.
Biography[]
Mary Jorden was born in Russian Empire (present-day Lithuania) on 1 January 1907. She lived most of her life in New Jersey, United States. During her lifetime, she had many jobs, the most important to her was being a mother and homemaker. Her husband, William, died in 1992. She outlived two of her sons: William and Donald Jorden.
Jorden died in Toms River, New Jersey, USA, on 1 March 2018 at the age of 111 years, 59 days. She was survived by her daughter Joyce Zofchak and her husband Albert, and nine grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-great-grandchild.
