Mary Penamon (18 October 1881 – 18 February 1994) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Mary Penamon was born in Mississippi, USA on 18 October 1881 (claimed 1880). She had 14 siblings. Her father left his family when she was 3 years and her mother Emma Bradley Sweeney married a man named Jones. She married Andrew Penamon who died in 1926 at age 56. The couple had 9 children. Mary Penamon died in Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford in Tennessee, USA on 18 February 1994 at the age of 112 years, 123 days. At the time of her death she had eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
