Masa Osada [Japanese: 長田まさ] (5 April 1894 – 1/4 April 2006) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the third-oldest living person in Japan, after Yone Minagawa and Shitsu Nakano.
Biography[]
Masa Osada was born in Japan on 5 April 1894. In September 2003, she was reported by Japan's MHLW as the second-oldest living person in Tokyo, behind Hiro Kimoto (1892–fl.2003).
Osada's age was verified by Japan's MHLW and Ken Matsuoka, and validated by the GRG on 23 September 2005.
Masa Osada died in Meguro, Tokyo, Japan between 1 April and 4 April 2006, at the age of 111 years, 361-364 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Tokyo.
