Masa Sato (Japanese: 佐藤政; 10 April 1908 – 25 July 2019) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age was validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) in 2022.

Biography

Masa Sato was born in Japan on 10 April 1908. She celebrated her 110th birthday in 2018.

In September 2018, Sato was reported to be the third-oldest living person in Gunma Prefecture. At the time of her death, she was the second-oldest known living person in Gunma Prefecture behind Kesa Yamada.

Sato passed away in Maebashi, Gunma Prefecture, Japan, on 25 July 2019 at the age of 111 years, 106 days.
