Masae Okaguchi (Japanese: 岡口マサヱ) (1 August 1904 – 8 September 2014) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently pending by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Masae Okaguchi was born in Japan on 1 August 1904. She lived in Kashimadai, Tanabe City. According to the family of Okaguchi, she got sick and was admitted to the hospital in May 2014. On her 110th birthday in August 2014, she was visited by Tanabe's mayor, Mitsutoshi Manago.
Okaguchi died in the nursing home she was living in on 8 September 2014 at the age of 110 years, 38 days. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Wakayama Prefecture.
Upon her death, Yoshie Satake became the oldest known living person in Wakayama Prefecture.
