Masae Uchiyama [Japanese: 内山マサヱ] (27 February 1907 – 28 July 2019) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG). At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan.

Biography

Masae Uchiyama was born in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan on 27 February 1907. When she was young, she often travelled, and used her dexterity to cook and sew.

In February 2018, Uchiyama was reported as the second-oldest living person in Nagasaki Prefecture, behind 111-year-old Tsunahei Ogawa. Her age was verified by Takeo Inishie, Tzen Wei Tseng, and Japan's MHLW, and validated by the GRG on 20 May 2019.

Masae Uchiyama died in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan on 28 July 2019, at the age of 112 years, 151 days.
