Mattie Anderson (23 September 1911 – 12 November 2021) was an American supercentenarian whose age is currently pending by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Anderson was born on 23 September 1911 in Riley, Tennessee. At some point in her life, she moved to Michigan.
Anderson enjoyed cooking and fishing, as well as going to church every Sunday. She outlived her two children.
In September 2021, Anderson celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Anderson died on 12 November 2021 in Eastpointe, Michigan, at the age of 110 years, 50 days. At the time of her death, she had three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
