Maurice Le Coutour (born 12 May 1914) is a French supercentenarian who is currently the oldest known living man in France. His age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Maurice Le Coutour was born in Gouberville, Normandy, France on 12 May 1914. His father Edouard was a carpenter and his mother a housewife. He worked as a secretary at the Tocqueville dairy and then a school bus driver. He retired at the age of 65.

He became the oldest known living man in France, following the death of 112-year-old Georges Thomas on 1 June 2024.

In May 2024, he celebrated his 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.

Maurice Le Coutour currently lives in Barfleur, Manche, Normandy, France at the age of 110 years, 181 days.
