Miho Matsuzaki (born 14 April 1913) - Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Miho Matsuzaki was born in Oita Prefecture, Japan, on 18.04.1913 (Taisho 2). She moved from Oita Prefecture to Oguni City after getting married. After her husband died at the age of 99, about 20 years ago, she moved to Kumamoto City to live with her family. At the time of her 111th birthday, she lived in a nursing home for the elderly in Higashi Ward. When asked about the secret of her longevity, he replied, “Nothing,”. She had no chronic illnesses, used a walker, and usually liked puzzles and quizzes. Before the new virus epidemic, she spent most of his time at home.
The supercentenarian case of Miho Matsuzaki was meticulously examined and verified by Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare, Japan, Ayuta Tonomura, Wacław Jan Kroczek and Robert Young, and validated by Gerontology Research Group on 4 May 2024.
