Mildred Marie Harmer Edgington (25 February 1920-18 February 2024) was an American centenarian from Iowa.
Biography[]
Mildred Edgington was born on 24 February 1920 in Sioux, Iowa, United States. She celebrated her 103th birthday on 245February 2023. ”my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and going to do it very quietly, just going to a cafe and having a good meal. When we got to the Cafe, we found our friends and family there,” said Edgington. Mildred lost a child, she calls it the toughest thing to go through. ”Just have a good faith in God, and I think that’s what helped me live all these years, because I have turned to him in many times of trouble, and they have always been solved,” said Edgington.
Mildred Edgington died at the age of 103 years, 11 months, and 24 days, just 7 days of shy of her 104th birthday on February 18, 2024, at at The Palm at Regency Square in Sough Sioux City, Nebraska.
