Minnie Kearby (née Armstrong; 14 April 1893 – 7 April 2005) was a validated American supercentenarian.
Biography[]
Minnie Kearby was born as Minnie Armstrong in Dubois County, Indiana, USA on 14 April 1893. Her parents were Warren Armstrong and Carrie (née Bee) Armstrong. She had six siblings. Her father died in 1937 at the age of 82 and her mother died in 1949 at the age of 90.
She married Edgar Kearby in Dubois County, Indiana, USA on 17 October 1915. The couple had three children: one son and two daughters. Her husband died in 1978 at the age of 84.
Her brother, Otes Armstrong (7 September 1880 – 1 September 1981) died just six days before his 101st birthday.
Kearby died in Jasper, Indiana, USA on 7 April 2005 at the age of 111 years, 358 days. She was survived by two granddaughters, five great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
