Minta May Lovell (neé Wile) (15 November 1881 – 3 June 1991) was an American centenarian from Pennsylvania.
Biography[]
Minta Lovell was born as Minta May Wile in Turniphole, Beaver Township, Clarion, Pennsylvania, United States on 15 November 1881. Her parents were Israel Isaiah Wile and Cecelia Etta Best. She grew up in Beaver and Licking townships and attended a one-room schoolhouse where she received her eighth-grade diploma. She married James Sine Lovell on 14 August 1901. They had three children. She was a member of the United Methodist Church at Knox and the Rebekah Lodge. She died in Knox, Clarion, Pennsylvania, United States on 3 June 1991 at the age of 109 years, 200 days. At the time of her death, she had six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren. Minta's mother Cecelia Etta "Celia" Best Wile (April 30 1862- February 20 1962) lived to be 99 years old and died within 2 months of her 100th birthday. Minta's sister Sarah Katheryn Wile Rhea Hanson (July 26 1896- February 6 1997) lived to be 100 years old. And Minta's brother Perry Alvin Wile (December 3 1879- June 22 1974) lived to be 94 years old.
