Mitsu Katsuta [Japanese: 勝田みつ] (18 February 1909 – fl.1 January 2021) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography
Katsuta was born in Japan on 18 February 1909. On 6 September 2018, she was visited by the Mayor of Yamato, Satoru Oki, who presented her a gift of honor for the beeing the oldest living person in the city. At that time, Oki said that Katsuka has been the oldest living person in Yamato for three years. In September 2019, she was once again visited by the Mayor of Yamato.
Katsuta was last confirmed alive on 1 January 2021 at the age of 111 years, 317 days. At that time she was living in Shimowada, Yamato, Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan.
