Mitsue Taiji (Japanese: みつゑさん; 10 March 1904 – 26 January 2016) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Taiji was born in Japan on 10 March 1904. In September 2015, she was reported as the 3rd oldest living person in Hyogo Prefecture, after Aino Matsuoka and Tatsuyo Kobayashi. Her age was validated by the GRG on 23 September 2015.

Taiji died in Sasayama, Hyogo, Japan, on 26 January 2016, at the age of 111 years, 322 days.
