Mitsuko Hayashi (4 September 1911 - fl.1 January 2024) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Mitsuko Hayashi was born in Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan on 4 September 1911. On 4 September 2021, Hayashi celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Mitsuko Hayashi was last confirmed alive in Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan on 1 January 2024 at the age of 112 years, 119 days. She was the second-oldest known living person in Fukuoka Prefecture, after Yuki Nitta, at the time she went to limbo.
As of September 2024, the oldest living person in Fukuoka Prefecture was confirmed to be Haruko Onizuka, who is younger than Hayashi, so she went to limbo.
