Mitsuno Sawada [Japanese: 澤田光能] ( 1 January 1912 - 18 Aug 2024) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).
Biography[]
Mitsuno Sawada was born in Yasugi, Shimane Prefecture, Japan on 1 January 1912.
On 21 June 2021, following the death of 110-year-old Fumi Fujiwara, she became the oldest living person in Shimane Prefecture.
In January 2022, she celebrated her 110th birthday and became a supercentenarian.
Mitsuno Sawada died on 18 August 2024 in Matsue, Shimane Prefecture, Japan at the age of 112 years, 230 days.
