Momu Okuma [Japanese: 大熊モム] (12 January 1874 – 10 February 1984) was a Japanese supercentenarian whose age is validated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography

Momu Okuma was born in Takamatsu, Kagawa Prefecture, Japan on 12 January 1874.

Following the death of 108-year-old Koharu Kodaira on 10 April 1980, Okuma became the oldest living person in Hokkaido Prefecture. Following the death of 110-year-old Toka Miyata on 27 March 1982, she became the oldest living person in Japan.

Momu Okuma passed away on 10 February 1984 in Sapporo, Hokkaido Prefecture, Japan, at the age of 110 years, 29 days, after suffering from a heart attack. At the time of her death, she was the oldest living person in Japan.
