Morris Wioskowski (Hebrew: מוריס ויסקובסקי) (27 July 1912 – 28 April 2023) was a Polish-born Israeli supercentenarian who was the oldest known living man and person in Israel at the time of his death. His age is currently unvalidated by Gerontology Research Group (GRG).

Biography[]

Morris Wioskowski was born in Russian Empire (present-day Poland) on 27 July 1912. For several years, he lived in the United Kingdom and served in the British Army. In his later life, he emigrated to Israel. In December 2020, at the age of 108, he received the COVID-19 vaccine.

Wioskowski became Israel’s oldest resident following the death of 110-year-old Heinke Gilad on 7 March 2022.

Morris Wioskowski died at the Eshkolot Oranim retirement home in Gedera, a town in the south of Shfela region, Central District, Israel on 28 April 2023 at the age of 110 years, 275 days. At the time of his death, he was the third-oldest known man ever to die in Israel.
