Muska Porobic [Bosnian: Muška Porobić] (née Nuhanovic; 28 November 1912 – 12 March 2021) was a Bosnian centenarian who may have been the oldest known living person in Bosnia and Herzegovina at the time of her death.

Biography[]

Porobic was born in the village of Zepa (Bosnian: Žepa), Rogatica Municipality, Austria-Hungary (present-day Bosnia and Herzegovina) on 28 November 1912 (claimed 1910). She lived in Srebrenica for some time.

In 1995, four of her children were killed during the Srebrenica genocide. She has a lot of grandchildren, some of whom are living in the Netherlands, United States and Saudi Arabia. In December 2019, she was reported as the oldest living pensioner in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She lived with her daughter-in-law.

Porobic died in Gornji Potocari (Bosnian: Gornji Potočari), Srebrenica, Bosnia and Herzegovina on 12 March 2021 at the age of 108 years, 104 days.
