Myrtle Clifton (19 November 1902 – 12 July 2014) was a validated American supercentenarian who was the oldest living person in Delaware until her death.
Biography[]
Myrtle Clifton was born Mayme Myrtle Clifton near Milford, Delaware to John and Laura (Jones) Clifton and attended University of Pennsylvania.[1] She attributed her longevity to never marrying and telling dirty jokes.
Clifton died on 12 July 2014 aged 111 years, 235 days.[2]
