Nafiz Islambekovna Zharylgapova [Russian: Нафиза Исламбековна Жарылгапова] (1 July 1914? — 8 January 2026) was a Kazakh supercentenarian claimant whose age is currently unvalidated by the Gerontology Research Group (GRG) and LongeviQuest (LQ).
Biography[]
Nafiz Zharylgapova claimed to have been born in Syrym District, Russian Empire (now Kazakhstan), on 1 July 1914, into a noble Kazakh family, but spent most of her life in the Orenburg Region. She raised and educated five children, who later lived in Russia and Kazakhstan.
In 2020, she moved to the Samara Oblast, and then in Koshelev Park near Samara, with the family of one of her granddaughters.
On 1 July 2024, Zharylgapova celebrated her claimed 110th birthday. At the claimed age of 111, she had 24 grandchildren, 52 great-grandchildren, and 32 great-great-grandchildren.
Nafiz Zharylgapova died in Uralsk, West Kazakhstan Region, Kazakhstan, on 8 January 2026, at the claimed age of 111 years, 191 days.
